South Florida Spirit Fund
CHEER Fort Lauderdale is dedicated to supporting local LGBTQ+ youth charities through our South Florida Spirit Fund. Each year, we select a new organization to benefit from our fundraising efforts. Our team works tirelessly throughout the year to gather donations, which are then presented to the chosen charity.
In the last three years, we have raised over $4,000 for LGBTQ+ youth initiatives. Additionally, we generate funds to maintain our 501(c)3 nonprofit status, run by dedicated volunteers from the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.
For 2023-2024, we are honored to support SunServe as the recipient of our South Florida Spirit Fund. SunServe provides critical life assistance and professional mental health services, focusing on economically disadvantaged and marginalized youth, adults, and seniors in the greater South Florida metropolitan area.
